After serving in the United States Navy, Thomas Dozier began cooking chili competitively in 2008. He participated in numerous cook-offs, which benefit a myriad of charities, and continuously refining and perfecting his recipe he won the Terlingua International Chili Cook-off in 2010. In the years that followed he continued to succeed in nearly every major competition he entered, even winning the Texas State Open, the U.S. National Open, the Texas State Fair twice, California State and becoming the reserve champion for the TICC in 2011. Simultaneously with his success in the competitive circuit he began re-imagining his award winning, made from scratch, chili spice blends into a unique flavor designed to be shared at home in 2015. In 2018, Tom once again won the Terlingua International Chili Cook-off, making him a two-time World Champ! His winning streak continued into 2019 when he became the Canadian International Chili Cook-off Champion!
